Nevada Ready! Pre-K

The Nevada Ready! Pre-K Program is a full-day preschool offered at NO COST to families who qualify. This program is open to children who have turned age 4 by August 1st of the current school year. Families must meet the eligibility requirements in order to qualify for enrollment.

NOTICE: Spots are still available in several programs and new eligibility requirements (passed in the 2025 Legislative session) are in place. Programs marked with * are currently accepting applications and have spaces available.

New Eligibility Requirements - Effective July 1, 2025:

  • Child is age 4 on or before August 1, 2025 AND meets one or more the following:
    • Household income not greater than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); and/or
    • The age eligible child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP); and/or
    • The age eligible child's primary home language is not English; and/or
    • The age eligible child is a member of a vulnerable and historically underserved population (official definition and criteria for this is still under review - check with your selected provider to see if you qualify or if they have additional information)
