Nevada Ready! Pre-K - United Way of Southern Nevada

The Nevada Ready! Pre-K Program is a full-day preschool offered at NO COST to families who qualify. This program is open to preschool children who have turned 4 years old by August 1st of the current school year. Families must meet the eligibility requirements in order to qualify for enrollment.

United Way of Southern Nevada also has the Pre-K for Nevada Program, serving 3 and 4 year olds with families who earn up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level who may not qualify for the Nevada Ready! Pre-K program. Click the link below to learn more.

The United Way of Southern Nevada's Nevada Ready! PreK Program includes approximately 50 private child care centers who meet all of the high-quality standards of the Nevada Ready! PreK Program. Many of these providers also offer wrap around care to meet the needs of working families.

Child age 4 by August 1st of the current school year

INCOME/OTHER:                      

  • Household Income at or Below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level OR
  • Child with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) OR
  • Primary Language is Not English OR
  • Child is a member of a vulnerable and historically underserved population: 
    • Child lives in frontier/remote area or qualified tribal land
    • Child resides in a foster home or with relative or fictive kin
    • Child has a parent or guardian who is incarcerated
    • Child is homeless
    • Child's home-zoned public school is rated a one or two star school
    • Child's family has asylum or refugee status
    • Child lives in a household with parent or guardian who is raising the child or children without a spouse or partner to assist in the upbringing of the child
