Pinwheels for Prevention - Child Abuse Prevention Month

Little girl wearing pink hugs the leg of an adult wearing blue jeans.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to remember that we can each play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families in our community.
To help promote this reminder, Prevent Child Abuse America and local chapters nationwide, including Prevent Child Abuse Nevada, use the Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign.

The pinwheel is an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve. We want to reinforce the notion that healthy child development serves as a foundation for both community and economic development.

You can participate in Child Abuse Prevention Month activities in your community - see below for a list of planned events throughout the state of Nevada!

Social Media: Post and share your activities with #GoBlueNV! This helps spread awareness while also getting others involved. You can also check out the tag to see and support what others are doing across the state.
