Free Spanish Breastfeeding Support Group

Spanish Breastfeeding Support Group Flier Grupo De Apoyo Para La Lactancia Materna

The UNLV School of Public Health is excited to announce that a new Spanish breastfeeding support group will begin in Southern Nevada through funding from the Department of Health and Human Services via their American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This funding was granted to the UNLV School of Public Health for the Nevada Lactation Hub Scholarship Program: Building Pathways to Sustainable Lactation Workforce Pipeline. 

The program is partnering with the Anthem Wellness Center to host this FREE weekly Spanish breastfeeding support group every Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting June 27. Each session is led by a certified international breastfeeding consultant and a counselor.
