Mobile Harvest offers free fruits and vegetables and other perishable foods to families in neighborhoods all over northern Nevada.
Schedules for all services can be found here or by calling 775-331-FOOD (3663).
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada works with a network of 150+ partner agencies who offer services to families throughout the region. More information can be found here.
Dairy Council of Nevada – NevadaMilk.com
NevadaMilk.com is an online, nutrition education hub powered by the Dairy Council of Nevada, dedicated to expanding consumers' nutrition knowledge, especially when it comes to including dairy at family mealtimes. The site provides science-based information on dairy's nutrition profile, affordability, and versatility. Through their team of community registered dietitians, they operate as the go-to dairy nutrition experts for our state.
The primary target audience for NevadaMilk.com is families with young children. The organization’s resources and recipes are designed to help families harness all dairy has to offer to help promote their children's brains, bones, and bodies.
Other audiences they've worked with include local food pantry clientele, health professionals, and educators.

The holidays are full of sparkle, celebration... and lots of sugar. Thankfully, serving up festive cheer doesn’t have to mean missing out on nutritious foods. With a few simple swaps (and some nutrient-rich dairy), parents can still keep their holiday treats fun, delicious, and kid-approved.
Creating joyful moments, building family traditions, and fostering healthy habits doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes the simplest activities help young children learn the most and connect with you in meaningful ways.
Feeding your baby is one of the most important decisions you’ll make—and now Nevada families have a new tool to make it easier. Nevada Breastfeeds is a resource from the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) designed to connect parents with free, family-friendly breastfeeding supports across the state.
