Act4Kids Nevada is working to unite the patient and family voice in advocating for a freestanding children's hospital and state-wide healthcare system. It is time for consolidated care for the kids in Nevada!
Act4Kids is made up of parents and professionals who have noticed the fragmented care in Nevada as they access healthcare for their own kids. We know that too many families are having difficulties accessing care for their children, and too many need to leave the state for care. This needs to change!
Nevada is home to the largest metropolitan city without a freestanding children's hospital. A new study released by the Lincy Institute at UNLV detailed the need for a children's hospital - read the study here!
Getting involved with Act4Kids Nevada offers a unique chance for families to work together toward a shared goal of creating a brighter future for Nevada’s children, helping ensure that every child has the chance to succeed and thrive. All kids in Nevada would benefit from a freestanding children's hospital, a healthcare hub for kids!
