Step Up for Kids! October 5th – Las Vegas

Join us on October 5th from 9am to 12pm in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Area Council, Scouting America – 7220 Paradise Road!

Step Up for Kids events focus on raising awareness of issues American children face such as: access to early care and learning programs, access to after-school programs, poverty, child abuse and neglect, and health care.

Join us for free family fun and activities including lunch for the first 200 attendees, face painting, live DJ, petting zoo, farmer’s market, games, raffle prizes, resource fair, costume contest, and our Youth Mayor election where kids can vote!

Strong Start Clark County Youth Mayor

The Youth Mayor program gives children the chance to learn about basic political and campaigning skills in a fun and engaging way while allowing them to interact with their community. Candidates must be youth entering the 4th or 5th grade for the 2024-2025 school year and must live in Clark County. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, click here.
