The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) is proud to announce the opening of its first licensed child care facility this year with the John C. Kish Early Childhood Learning (ECL) Center.

This exciting milestone marks a new chapter in the organization’s commitment to supporting children and families across Southern Nevada. Expanding the Boys & Girls Club experience to a younger age group, the Kish ECL Center provides a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive during their earliest years of development.

The Kish ECL Center serves children ages 4 to 5 through its high-quality Pre-K program, offering both full-day and half-day options, along with before and after care to meet families’ needs. The Center has 36 available seats for its programs.

At the heart of the program is BGCSNV’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Early Childhood Learning program reflects this mission by providing opportunities for our youngest learners to build a strong foundation for lifelong success.

The Kish ECL Center combines fun and learning to promote academic readiness, social growth, emotional well-being, and physical development. BGCSNV is committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and enriching environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

The ECL Center embraces a play-based learning approach, recognizing that young children learn best through exploration, imagination, and discovery. Classrooms are designed to inspire creativity and collaboration, filled with hands-on activities that encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, and express themselves.

Each day, students engage in experiences that nurture early literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional skills, building essential tools for kindergarten and beyond.

Teachers follow Nevada State Pre-K Standards, ensuring learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with statewide expectations for school readiness.

As an approved child care provider, the Kish ECL Center proudly accepts child care subsidies. BGCSNV also participates in the Nevada Ready! Pre-K (NR!PK) program, which allows qualifying families to enroll their children in full-time Pre-K at no cost!

We are excited to welcome our youngest learners to Boys & Girls Clubs! Families interested in learning more about the John C. Kish Early Childhood Learning Center, enrollment opportunities, or eligibility for the Nevada Ready! Pre-K program, please see below:
