We are thrilled to announce the launch of a First 5 Nevada, a groundbreaking one-stop-shop, featuring a robust website designed to connect families with children under the age of 5 to the entirety of the state’s Early Childhood System. This comprehensive platform encompasses the essential services necessary for young children and their families to thrive and succeed.
We are conducting a series of sessions for both parents and partners to learn how to use all the features and benefits of First 5 Nevada.

All sessions will be hosted on Zoom and will last approximately one hour. Once you register and select your session date, you will be sent a Zoom link prior to your meeting.

Research shows that even a 3-year-old child can grasp another person’s perspective, even without being explicitly guided.
November is a time for giving thanks—for family, friends, and the little moments that make each day special. Whether your table is set for a big Thanksgiving feast or a cozy meal at home, it’s a wonderful season to help young children learn about gratitude, kindness and togetherness.
Being a parent, it is difficult to find a win:win situation when it comes to time management. All of this juggling leads us down a spiral of multitasking, stress and exhaustion that makes us wonder if we are doing our best at home and at work. This spiral has been dubbed Depleted Mother Syndrome.
