We are thrilled to announce the launch of a First 5 Nevada, a groundbreaking one-stop-shop, featuring a robust website designed to connect families with children under the age of 5 to the entirety of the state’s Early Childhood System. This comprehensive platform encompasses the essential services necessary for young children and their families to thrive and succeed.
We are conducting a series of sessions for both parents and partners to learn how to use all the features and benefits of First 5 Nevada.

Learning about birth defects can feel overwhelming, but families don’t have to navigate this alone. March of Dimes and other organizations provide education, support, and resources to help families understand their options and access care.
In December, the La Fuerza de Familias Latinas team from Literacy Partners spent a week in Nevada connecting with families and community partners around a shared commitment to biliteracy, early literacy, and family engagement. Each stop reinforced a core belief: when parents and caregivers are supported, children’s learning grows stronger.
Partners throughout the state host a variety of community events and trainings designed to engage families, provide valuable resources, and promote early childhood development. From workshops and educational sessions to fun, interactive activities for kids, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
