Join Us for Parent and Partner Training Sessions
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a First 5 Nevada, a groundbreaking one-stop-shop, featuring a robust website designed to connect families with children under the age of 5 to the entirety of the state’s Early Childhood System. This comprehensive platform encompasses the essential services necessary for young children and their families to thrive and succeed.
We are conducting a series of sessions for both parents and partners to learn how to use all the features and benefits of First 5 Nevada.
PARENT TRAINING SESSIONS
Welcome to FirstSNevada.org, a new family resource that ensures every family in Nevada has access to the programs, resources and support they need to help their children aged 0-5 grow and thrive.
We are excited to offer parents around the state a special training session, being offered in both English and Spanish.
During the session, we will:
- Introduce you to the website
- Show you how you can find out what programs and services you qualify for in under 5 minutes!
- Share ways you can become a Parent Advocate and help us improve the system for all families.
English session options:
- 5/14 at 1:30 pm
- 5/20 at 5:30 pm

PARTNER TRAINING SESSIONS
As a valued community partner, we invite you to join us for an introduction to the First 5 Nevada website. We are eager to share more details with you, as we believe that this initiative will transform how families access services and resources pertaining to the growth and development of their young children.
During this session, we will:
- Guide you through the website
- Showcase the portal where parents can input their information, and within minutes receive a personalized list of services and resources they may be eligible for, complete with contact information.
- Provide insights into the process for adding your program/resource to the platform, if it's not already included, along with the associated criteria.
- Share a toolkit containing materials to assist your organization in disseminating this valuable information to those you serve.
