Screenings Available

Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3)

NV Early Intervention Services & Therapy Management Group

The Ages & Stages Questionnaires, Third Edition (ASQ-3) is a developmental screening tool that pinpoints developmental progress in children between the ages of one month to 5 ½ years. ASQ-3 screening provides a quick look at how children are doing in important areas, such as communication, physical ability, social skills, and problem-solving skills. ASQ-3 can help identify your child’s strengths as well as any areas where your child may need support.

This screening takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3 & ASQ-SE)

The Children's Cabinet

The ASQ-3 is the general developmental screener (see above). The ASQ-SE2 is a social emotional developmental screener. This is used to screen all children and can help detect signs of delays or areas of concern regarding a child's behavior and social capabilities.

This screening takes approximately 40-50 minutes to complete.

WIC Program Screening

Inter-Tribal Council of NV WIC Program

ITCN WIC will provide enrollment and eligibility information for WIC services for women, infants and children under 5 years old.

Women must be pregnant, postpartum and/or breastfeeding.

Please bring proof of residency, income and identification.

This screening takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Immunizations - Seasonal Vaccinations

Northern Nevada Public Health

Northern Nevada Public Health will be providing seasonal vaccinations (flu and COVID) at no-cost to uninsured clients.

Please bring your ID, insurance card (if insured), and immunization record (if coming from out of state or out of country).

This service takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Height and Weight Screenings

Casa de Salud House of Health

We will provide quick and friendly height and weight measurements for children of all ages. This basic screening helps parents monitor healthy growth and understand their child’s body mass index (BMI) percentile, which is based on national growth charts. Results will be recorded on a fun take-home card with general guidance for healthy development. No lab testing or special preparation is needed. This interactive station teaches kids the importance of handwashing by showing how germs can remain on hands even after washing. Kids apply a special "germ lotion" and wash their hands, then check under a UV light to see the results. It's a fun, engaging way to promote hygiene habits. Educational flyers and stickers will be given out.

This screening takes approximately 3-5 minutes to complete.
