The Children's Cabinet and First 5 Nevada will be conducting a series of Early Childhood Screening Events throughout the state in partnership with local libraries. Families with young children can access early childhood screenings, receive assistance applying for Medicaid or Nevada Check Up, get connected with community resources, participate in fun activities, and receive free materials and fun raffle prizes!

What to expect:
Screenings will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is recommended, but not required.
The Ages & Stages Questionnaires, Third Edition (ASQ-3) is a developmental screening tool that pinpoints developmental progress in children between the ages of one month to 5 ½ years. ASQ-3 screening provides a quick look at how children are doing in important areas, such as communication, physical ability, social skills, and problem-solving skills. ASQ-3 can help identify your child’s strengths as well as any areas where your child may need support.
This screening takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
The ASQ-SE2 is a social emotional developmental screener and is supplement to the ASQ-3. This screener can help detect signs of delays or areas of concern regarding a child's behavior and social capabilities.
This screening takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
